Karoo Escape

This is the ultimate escape from the madness. Far from crowded noise… Here your head can breath. You can see the stars. Need a break? This is it.

Relax in a large 4 bedroom house which sleeps 8 people with a dining room and separate sunny lounge. There’s no eskom. We use oil lamps and candles. There’s a lovely Aga style stove in the fully equipped kitchen as well as a gas stove and gas fridge. The open log fire in the dining room warms the house beautifully for chilly winter evenings. The beds all have warm woolen duvets and hot water bottles.

You can explore the Karoo countryside on your bike or go for a walk. There's plenty of beautiful bird life. This is a landscape photographer or artist’s dream destination with gorgeous sunsets and mountain scenery.

A picturesque farm situated at the foot of the Suurberg, 45 km from Steynsburg and 65 km from Middelburg EC.
