Rooipoort Game, Guest & Conference Farm
The farm's 3 200 hectares offers a wide selection of game such as springbuck, mountain reedbuck, red hartebeest, fallow deer and black wildebeest. For 4 x 4 and hiking enthusiasts, Rooipoort offers many challenges. Sixty per cent of the farm is covered with mountains and hills featuring breathtaking scenery. Hikers are allowed to explore the whole farm at their lesure, or try our quad bike rides on the farm.
A variety of bird species such as the Black Eagle, Martial Eagle, Korhaan, Clapper Lark, as well as endangered species like the Blue Crane, Secretary Bird and Grey Heron can be viewed by bird watchers.
