Where is Beaconsfield farm: Travel on the R56 towards Steynsburg
for 50 km, and turn right at Schoombee onto the gravel road. Follow
road for 15 km, and turn off at Beaconsfield sign, follow road for
3 km to the farmhouse.
Manufacture of cheese & yogurt from sheep's milk. Sheep milking.
Tour groups are welcome by prior arrangements. See the process of
making cheese, tasting of products and sales of cheese & yogurt
to the public on the farm.

On a farm near the Nieu Bethesda Village, 60 km from Middelburg,

Grootfontein Agricultural College & Institute
With a rich history from the British Military Era, guided tours
will be well-informed on the peace keeping camp that was stationed
here after the Anglo Boer War. Today, known as the Agricultural
College of Grootfontein, students are educated in farming, mostly
sheep. Guided tours by prior arrangements.
